Actually the movie is called Hachi - a Dogs story, but I like the Japanese trailer better.
It's an american film adapted from a japanese movie.
I always wanted to make an animated version of this story, Im glad someone is finally making it.

This is one of my favorite stories growing up. The American version portrays it quite well. The soundtrack is great also.
