No not a bad thing at all. If Disney didn't by Marvel. I don't believe Avengers would be what it was. There doing a pretty good job. I think starwars is starting to get stale. For me anyways. Maybe they'll do something a little different.

Family Guy did Star Wars only because Fox wanted them to.
Hopefully DIsney's version will be better.
