There's far too much black and white in the world.
Things are either GREAT for you or TERRIBLE for others. That in itself is relative *subjective. Just cause your rich doesn't mean you have it good, and just cause your poor doesn't mean life could be better.
What things really boil down to is being 'self-centered' and 'un-empathetic' towards anyone else.
As the Dalai Lama once said.
"Your Happiness is my Happiness and your Sadness is my Sadness."
Once people realize the connection they share with everyone, we would be more inclined to help each other out.
But it cannot be forced, so don't take actions with inebriated pride.
For every action is but a grain of sand in the gigantic never-ending-hour-glass of progress.
But as Jesus also said.
"First get rid of the log from your own eye first."
We must work on the self just as much to better understand how to help others.
As Joe Cross would put it.
"The best way to change the world, is to first change yourself."
It could be as simple as an attitude, a goal, a mindset, one's heart, a reflection, a revelation.
Like Buddha often said...
"We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think."
And I believe that once our thoughts become more connected, we can work together towards a better future.
Not just a Dawn and Dusk of Happiness for some and Sadness for Others...
But a Twilight where we can find comfort or give comfort. A unity of all minds, different opinions, and viewpoints. Because in reality, we are all one...in this entire Universe.
All thought, all opinions, all viewpoints, all welcomed.
Working together towards....
Altruism, Love, Peace, and Unity.
