Kudos to you, i agree with you in that you learn more from the obstacles and bruises and scrapes along the way.

I also think its a key point you made in finding out what works for YOU. I think too many times science or humans in general like to make convenient bins for people to fit into. Particularly with mental wellbeing and self satisfaction. Anyway thanks for sharing that. Happy holidays

Thank man! You too.

Happiness to you and your loved ones man!

"All previous dramas in my life now seem like child's tantrums. And I am more mature and knowledgeable than I have ever been before."

- its a great thing to have a bit of clarity. My problem is I'm so nonchalant about everything.... My moms in the ICU --she had a stroke --and this carelessness is stained on me. I wish I could understand my subconscious. ...

Yeah dude, I think I'll try to learn threw this post. Latley I've just been sliding threw life knowing what I should do ...but actions speak louder than words ...faith with out works is dead. What is it about attempting things scars me? ARG! I'll figure it out.

You know your probly the only NGr who writes such posts for the complete benefit of the reader. Thanx maaiz!

You appear to be holding it in or expressing apathy as to avoid getting hurt. Sometimes we don't feel the pain until much later. But it's good that your talking about it. But sometimes our instincts tell us to hold it it and our minds actually trick ourselves to not feel any pain.

I've seen guys at funerals who suddenly burst into tears and they didn't show any sign of sadness before.

But like I believe...you cannot have sadness without happiness. Try laughing more my friend.

Perhaps your apathy will soon diminish and you'll feel more in touch with your feelings.

Thanks again dude.

Jeez.. I eat just like your dad.

I love my ribs, and Im all about eating cheeses, the stinkier the better. Also living alone makes cooking bothersome after a while, so out comes the frozen steambuns or whitecastles.

I do squeeze my own orange and grapefruit juice tho, does that count?

Also thanks for the gift pack man, I loved my Megaman figure and mango juice, which is awesome, I dont think theres anything like it around here.
Btw Stamper send he now how the courage to eat balut. and I promise to film it and put it on NG hehe.

Ah no problem dude.

And squeezing your own juice is a great start! Pasteurized juice is dead and pointless. It's just flavored water. Not from concentrated seems to be better, but fresh squeezed is by far the best!

Holy Shit Stamper! Your gonna try and eat Balut?

I could never eat that! It just looks so icky! But I hear it's good for you. Very nutritious and full of protein.

heavy heavy stuff my man, thanks for sharing this.

I'm really lousy at dealing with loss and tend to avoid it whenever i can. I've been really lucky and haven't had to deal with anything as direct as a parent dying.

you have some really good advice here. I'm not sure what will work for me but there is something here for everybody.

Hey thanks Jouste.

You know...all I'm saying is that "If you have control in your life, then you should strive to seek longevity to the extent of our abilities."

But you still have to eat what you love. Otherwise it's not enjoyable.

But try and sneak and apple in your day every day.

Thanks, Jak. I think I'll be forwarding a link to this journal to my dad, so he can read it. His eating habbits have improved drastically as of late, but I know he's still not eating enough fruits and veggies. I'm not sure about the alcohol, either... Actually, I can't remember if I told you yet, but his open-heart surgery is confirmed to be on the 7th... I'm afraid for him...

Like we discussed earlier, I'm glad that you feel like you've gained from your eperiences. You're a great guy. Hopefully I can do the same, for better or for worse. c:>

Cheers, and Merry Christmas, man. You rock.

Also, I saw Mindchamber's comment about Stamper being gutsy enough to try Balut and wanting to film it. I want to see this in all its hilarity.

Hopefully your dad will be fine. But I'm glad he's taking the reality of eating healthy to good measure.

Thanks! And I know you'll do the same. "Experiences" as a general term, is unavoidable. What matters is how we deal with them.

I know right? Stamper's got some balls to wanna try and eat stuff like that. Most people just look at that stuff and just....OH ACK ICK!

But people from the east just love that half developed duck egg. It's quick a treat to them. As common as hotdogs there in comparison, but probably much healthier.

Live well and long indeed...

I know your body is healthy....

But I would recommend seeking a healthy mind and soul.

It all fits together.

Just keep that in mind dude.

Hey Jak I read it late, sorry about your dad, you're a strong dude.

Thanks dude.
