I got a simple view on religion.
Believe in what inspires people to be good for each other, regardless of opinion on more controversial topics and disputes as to which god is more likely to be the real one, if there is a god in the first place.

Yes, but once you conflict the viewpoints, that's when arguments start.
So it's important to gain perspective now before you get TOO absorbed into your Clergy.

Just take a Religion Class at your community college.
Find a non-bias teacher to lecture about the different Religions.
I personally find the initial attitude of Hindus to be worth while.
Essentially....every action driven by an egotistical motive is bad karma, no matter if it results in suffering or happiness.
