My favorite sci-fi comedy is BACK for another season!

The first 3 episodes were funnier than EVER!
I would be SO surprised if anyone here on Newgrounds doesn't like the series.

I don't watch southpark either, hate it personally. The pop culture references were something they had always done with futurama and I didn't mind them. In fact it was like stepping into a damn time machine to see new episodes so I was happy. Unfortunately I think I'll lose interest after a while like when family guy came back, although futurama will always hold a special place in my heart. It is the only tv series I own all of on dvd so that says something.
Oddly enough, I feel the same way (only about Family Guy). The newer episodes are not that funny to me anymore.
BUT FUN FACT: Seth McFarlin is actually a fan of the series.
1. He sings the intro for the DVD "Into the WIld Green Yonder"
2. He cameoed Bender in a recent Family Guy episode.
I hope these new episodes will at least have some good stores like the old seasons did, I really loved the drama, trageties, and sad faithful dog tales in-between the comedy.
Don't get me started on the dog. I've watched family members die without a tear but that damn dog gets me every time.
It was inspired by "Hachiko"
Hmmm, reminds me of the dog in Persona 3. I'm guessing I've seen many references to that dog. Not gonna watch the Richard Gere movie though
Uh dude, Hachiko is a "REAL" dog.
Richard Gere just made an American version of Japanese history.
The season is gonna rule. Nerds keep bitching about it. But they're always bitching.
I love it.
There is a god...I believe again!
Futurama was the best original comedy since...well...anything. I bet Adult Swim is kicking themselves for dropping syndication now.
True the pop culture references will get slightly stagnated, but I think the very CREATIVITY of Futurama is what will keep it from turning into a South Park/Family Guy situation.
And yes, Seymour gets me everytime too, I bawl. Hysterically.
And because it needs to be said: ALL HAIL HYPNOTOAD.
Well, from what I understand. Adult Swim's Futurama was only a loan and was bought out by Comedy Central.
Adult Swim focuses mainly on anime and their crappy originals now - only about 3 out of 10 shows are any good.
PS-you should see the "real" hyptno-toad someone made a a comic-con.
Who's your favorite character, Jak? Mine just happens to be good ol' Bender, yours?
Duh, Bender is WAY UP THERE in favs.
But I do enjoy Fry's stupidity and his comments of the obvious.
And the Professor! OH.
When he says "Good News Everyone"
You KNOW the plot has begun.

I really didn't like the most recent episode. Too much pop culture crap (which, incidentally, is something South Park has been suffering lately). Ooh, they're mocking Twitter and the iPhone, how edgy and original, nobody's ever done that before. And I literally facepalmed at the Susan Boyle reference.
But whatever. Ever show is entitled to one or two sucky episodes. I just hope it doesn't become a trend.

Well I don't watch South Park, so I suppose the pop culture references have been exposed already to many fans of the series.
I actually LAUGHED HARD at the end of the iphone episode.
I'm kinda a die hard fan of the series.
Cause come on, Bender is the best right?
