And this is why Social Networking is overrated.

Hmmm...it's a work in progress.

I feel that your logo could be more definitive and expressive.

Just a "face" is okay for starters, but your name can be played on in this.

Even your Newgrounds Name could be changed to fit yourself.
*I'm sure it can be simply wittled down to "Beast-Kid" that's a trademark title right there.
It's sorta a play on Xmen's Beast and DC's Beastboy, only with the word Kid.

Keep at it if you are serious about animation.

But I gave up once I realized just how much work i really is. I'll settle for just writing stories and making comics.

You have to almost be a little crazy to want to do it. -Ed Edd n Eddy creator Danny Antonucci.

But if you find the right animation studio, I hear it can be allot of fun.
Pixar is considered to be one of the best! But this is just...a...test! BeastieBoy!

Well, I changed my name to JohntheMurray ..or just John Murray on other sites. I think I'm going to leave beastkid7 because this site is really personal and I don't want people I do business with to find it. You know? You've seen my posts.

I've updated my contact info, you can see for yourself.

I just always had a fascination with the subtle enhancements in powers and beastly abilities. (were wolves for example). Super smell, increased strength, speed, and durability. That's exciting to me because your still mortal. and I could always relate to the innate Jeckle and Hide type effect of beastliness.

lol, I gave up too. I just, honestly don't have THAT much passion for it. That's what this test was kind of for. What if I could combine lazy crap animation with really good illustrations? Everything I did in this was drawn in photoshop. (quickly) What if I took my time and made something really illustrative and even painterly, to rig up in flashplayer? Kind of like that game "Broken Age".

What's funny is that the original student film was inspired from 2 characters doing Acid.

The film is called "2 in the AMPM" and it was one of JG Quintil's original student films that inspired the show's characters.

I'd bet JG would get a kick watching this. Someone should 'tweet' him? :D Cause Mordicai's a bird. ehhhhhh? (>_>)

Excellent Research JD.

This video reminds me of a quote from the movie "Flatland squared - Sphereland". A sequel to the remake of the movie "Flatland" staring Martin Sheen.

"When is a straight line 'not' a straight line?"

The transition of looking at things in a new way is as simple as the transition of 2D to 3D to 4D.

A new perspective.

Those breathing shapes fits perfectly with the concept of curved shapes. That in summation, there really isn't anything that is perfectly straight or curved - just something that is nearly there.

Vsauce already describes the existence of the absence of light resulting in a weight.

Keep on researching man!

I'll be studying myself, taking courses on physics at University.

This looks like something I would play on a WiiU.

Definitely worth presenting for an AAA career.

The discussion of theology should be respected and tolerated.
However it is apparent that some beliefs do encourage violence and intolerance - ironically enough.

But when people group together with nothing better to do than to disdain viewpoints for their own ego, then that's their prerogative.

Honestly, this will probably never end. No matter where you are in the Universe till the end of time.

This demonstrates a peaceful way to talk to anyone in general.

I don't fully believe in Spirit Science, but I do find the concepts and ideas interesting. And I totally respect your viewpoints on world peace and unity, despite how far-fetch and out of reach it may seem.

Allot of people are intimidated by new ideas and honestly are lacking in imagination.

Great Job JD

Thanks dude!! Great review :)

George Carlin would've loved being a Robot.

Too bad the technology doesn't exist before he died.

This is why Calvin and Hobbes needed to be an animated TV show.

It would've been what Snoopy was for kids of the old days but for us and our kids.

The world needs some deep thinking mixed with humor.

And Calvin and Hobbes was WAY ahead of it's time.

And this demonstrates just how nice the comic panels can translate into an animation.

Before you fans get too excited, just remember that "Zone" is just an avatar for the actual author.

We don't know for certain who Zone really is except for those who do know him/her personally.

A fun parody of the boo-hoo speech.

- - - But now for my thoughts - - -

A few national museums close and a few cushy government job employees get laid off.
And NASA doesn't need to be funded EVERY year.
Our tax dollars need to be focused on Earth for a while.
Hello! Cancer and Pollution much?
Our economy sucks and the Republicans don't want to fund the things that are actually more important. So 'they' shut it down - putting the phrase plainly.
But in reality, they only shut down parts of it.

Our tax dollars need to keep up with more necessary things.
That may involve some cuts in things that are not so important.
By simply calling it a 'government shut down' - there's this inane fear that we're going into anarchy.

The police will still be there and so will the fire fighters - etc.

But Republicans like Senator Mitch McConnell and Senator Harry Reid are 'really' dumbing down their speeches just to get a rise out of their viewers.

Sure Obama hasn't been the most popular president. But why is that really?
But it's not like being a man in charge means you can change things "just like that".

The truth about the American government is that the country's function is based upon who we've voted for in the Senate and the Supreme Court - YEARS before a President comes to the White House.

A President can only work around what rules, regulations, and laws are currently in place - placed by the Supreme Court. That WE voted for. You know those check marks as to which proposal to vote for? A or B - please refer to section something something for more information. Don't recall one? It's because you didn't get involved. These laws are taking into effect by our government, and that structures our society.

There is a fine line between being a President who governs with rules and decorums that were voted by the American people before hand to follow, vs being a dictator that can drastically change new laws at the whim of their will.

Part - if not most of the fault - also rests in ourselves.
The American people who 'voted' for such people in governmental positions and rules to live by.

It's not just 'one' person that is in charge. That's crazy thinking.

The government is a collection of various parts of a 'pie chart' and each piece is dedicated to certain things. Some viewpoints are drastically different, which is why being a Republican or Democrat...or whatever new third party is calling themselves these days, can make a difference. Assuming they really do stand for their represented ideals.

As most politicians literally just blatantly lie about what they promise to do - then the solution is simple.

TAKE ACTION!

BECOME that better politician. Get involved in Politics and strive to help.

STUDY STUDY STUDY. And strive to be that better person. Otherwise only jerk offs will be in charge.

And if you are incapable of doing all that work, do research instead. Really get involved and educated about our government, how it works, what we can do to make it better.

We can't just keep focused on ourselves. Or be swayed by Big Business trying to buy you off so they can bend the laws such as environmental and healthcare regulations to their own greedy will. *(Most business make their own regulations regarding things such as healthcare - for example, some of my friends got laid off of work because their corporations didn't want to pay their healthcare, so they hired a collection of inexperienced part-timers that are not qualified for 'their' healthcare instead.)

As a society - who's choices 'can' make a difference, we have to have the responsibility to choose leaders and politicians who will make this country better.

To put ALL the blame on Obama is just ridiculous and shunning off personal responsibility.

If you hate Obama, thats fine. Presidents are more of a figure head anyway.
Most of the power comes from the Supreme Court.

Because you are just as much to blame for choosing the other leaders who make laws away from the limelight.

These laws often go right under our noses and many agree to these without doing enough research.

It's like clicking 'agree' on the Terms of Agreement without reading that stupidly long 50 page contract.

Well, that's why it's important to be an avid reader.
