I like the crumpled paper effect.

It's always a risk doin' something like that...cause you may never know how it will look once you finished crumpling it.

It's a risk, but more than often...a desirable effect is created.

I used to do that all the time when making fake treasure maps, I even took a lighter and singed the edges and center lightly so it looked even more ancient.

If you wanna do that...make sure you do it outside, away from dry / flammable stuff, and a cup of water handy.

The image looks very 'MARVEL' or 'DC' comic feel.

It makes me wanna see 'what will happen next'.

its nice to know some people are still safety conscious!

They say you should never trust a smooth talker...

I look forward to this animated episode.

What is this style of art called again?

I know it's often used for that sense of artistic style.
It's....Jazzy, Artsy, and easy on the eyes.
Simple shapes, yet so expressive...

Will the whole animation be like this?

Mr. Green is such a downer...

Yet his expression towards children only shows his inner heart.

I wonder why Craig McCracken included him in only 'one' episode. His hump-like posture emphasizes his often depressed state. But he changes the moment someone is kind towards him.

Perhaps he is sad that he is a monster, yet wishes to live among humans without rejection, suspicions, or persecution - bein that he "is" a monster.

This illustration captures a feeling of Mr. Green. It makes me feel sad too.

Ah - Very Cool

But the Arrow seems miss-aligned.

But it's such a small minor detail that it still looks great.

Photoshop?

They say Poseidon's daughters were quite...

promiscuous ^_^

Although from what I understand, they really didn't look so....Disnyish.

They probably looked more fish than maid.

lol you talk about creatures like there real. I see what your saying though ...altho I was going for a more cartoony look.

They are the precursor of ancient Greek Frat-Boys.

Although some images you'd see them humping goats.

They really were considered 'pleasure' seekers.

And yes, excessive drinking is natural to them.

beastkid7 responds:

lol greek frat boys

That is....so like Flap Jack

Man...seeing this...Flap Jack would fit well in ANY parody.

Never trust Genies'...

They always add some cruel twist to anyone's wishes.

Like you wish to fly in the air...so she turns you into a 'fly' itself!

I mean...really...who benefits!?

They only seek to amuse themselves!
