Fuck! The Rescue Stage is HARD.

It's fun to add the rescued birds to your collection. The tilt controls do work, but it takes some getting use to.

The difficulty adds great replay value.

But my only complaint is the 'survival laser mode'. Your laser doesn't charge up fast enough to make it through the unyielding forces of the groundcats.

How are you suppose to get over 500 kills if you can't charge up your laser?

Call me an 'idiot' cause I love this game.

JohnnyUtah responds:

SHAKE THE PHONE TO CHARGE YOUR LAZER!

This is probably the hardest truth to accept...

I've explained this idea of "no such thing as Good or Bad" to a fellowship group I was invited to and they pretty much railed off the handle.

Logically since God is everything, then God is EVERYTHING. Good and Bad by means of perception. Everything just "is" makes perfect sense.

Although, this get's harder to accept when people subjugate themselves to darker desires of violence and sexuality.

Take the prisoner from the movie "Waking Life" and how he threatens to 'cut the eye-lids' and torture everyone who did him wrong and of any who cross his path.

Or the rapist who kept a 10 year old girl locked up in his basement until she agreed to 'consent' to having sex with him.

It really is a shocking perspective and how we choose to react to things once they become really extreme *(by my perspective of being extreme).

But ultimately this is the truth.

There just 'Is"....

So...how do we find harmony? Or is harmony a factor of "is"

Damn....I'm stumped.

RiverJordan responds:

Harmony comes from within. When there is peace in the self, you can create a harmonic life all around you. True, things can get VERY "extreme", but that being is driving themselves into chaos, and ultimately you can't control anyone but yourself..

I....F**king...hate this character.

I want to see HIM get the knife.

*that's the rage talking and I'm entitled to it. I mean no disrespect to the original artist nor the fans.

But to judge this fairly, it's basically it. Orange at his wackiest and probably rudest ever. Good tribute...a good 'newgrounds' tribute. Very well animated and voiced. And very dark in theme.

Thanks for the review!

I like your avatar look. Very cool looking.

This is probably my favorite of your flashes...

Reading the story, the flash makes allot of sense.

But I kinda want to see this in book form or a flash series.
Cause right now it seems kinda jumbled.
It matches the music from the Rentals very well!

It's not a traditional 'anime' style. Which is what I like about it. No ridiculous BIG EYES or curvature female bodies. It's your own style and it works.

I kinda like this attitude of llu, being a bully but using the money to save for being a conductor. Still, want to see some justification for those kids. OH what a plot that would make!

You know...Hans Van Harkin has a publication studio, maybe you should make a manga.

Skaijo responds:

This IS a part of a flash series, the final part that is.

In order, the series is:

Don't Trip
This is UNMEI
The Love I'm Searching 4

There's also non-cannon fighting fodder sims with:

Trip Impact 1
Trip Impact 2

I agree, why can't they make fighting games easier

If you really think about it, Fighting Games' controls don't make allot of sense.
And character distribution in terms of type and strength are typical and off balance in power.

Super Smash Bros' formula works but too many characters are broken.

In Smash, the controls are good. EX: Control Forward means your reach is further, but leaves you vulnerable to counterattacks if you miss.

But the characters are WAY too off balanced.

There HAS to be a way to make a fighting game that is casual but amateurs vs experts depend on the basics of blocking, dodging, and extending your reach vs short range attacks. Like the old school ways but with better graphics.

Like...an extended attack should be countered with a duck then executed with a short ranged attack.

A Rock, Paper, Scissors effect. Certain attacks should be dodged or blocked a certain way and vise versa.

Instead, too many people are just spamming the same overly powerful moves over and over again. Executing cheep moves of putting you in the corner and beating you while your down.

In the end, people just having fun by winning with cheep moves.

Sure, there are some REALLY good fighters, but what do you accomplish learning a whole bunch of memorized button combinations?

Does it really simulate a fighting game experience?
Or does it show your good at memorizing?

Because once a new fighting title comes out, you'll have to memorize ANOTHER 100-200 button and control combinations per character.

Fighting games DO NOT simulate fighting games with their ridiculous button combination controls. Only in graphics and animation.

Intention of the moves should be easily incorporated into the controls and easier to learn.

Or perhaps in the future, as sensor motion becomes more popular and polished, a person's stamina to move their arms or legs would incorporate with the gameplay.

THAT would simulate a real fighting game.

It may limit the possible combination of special moves, but in the end, it would make fighting games more like a fighting game.

Instead of just memorizing a bunch of button combinations.
*That's my biggest gripe.

Fighting games LOOK cool. But to play it todays way is illogical.

MikeandTreyVideo responds:

Hear hear, bro! I've stopped playing fighting games a long time ago. I occasionally play Brawl with a bud, but the only fighting games I own is Soul Calibur V and Virtua Fighter 5. VF5 actually has a pretty deep fighting mechanic since you're able to control certain moves and string together custom combos and have a more "fighter" feel to it as opposed to games like Soul Calibur where most people memmorize the combos (as you've mentioned) and whip them out as often as possible.

I think the new Mortal Kombat has taken a step in the right direction as far as fighting styles go.

My concern is the negative associations...

The word "Brony" has stirred up some unpleasant assumptions.

Still, I'm sure it's all in the self control. It's nothing 'really' special, it's just a good show.

Not much going on for this flash. It's just sorta 'meh'. Like eating white bread with just a smidgin of butter.

TheWitchBoi responds:

It explains the steps of becoming a "Brony", the flash did its job, it provided info and entertainment. I didn't really see a whole lot of opportunity to put in other stuff action-wise

Allot of Christians gonna be hating

Out of all the origins of human history, this one is very 'very' interesting.

So what happens to people who don't achieve Christ Continuousness?

RiverJordan responds:

They're not going to make it :/ But it will be their fault for closing themselves off with fear or hate.

Funny stuff man.

Glad to see such dedication given your current condition.
(Don't push yourself too hard.)

For it was amazingly well animated.

When will BBC 'green-light' your series and give you guys directing control of producing your own Edd show for TV?

Cause this is good stuff man. It's funny, it's witty, and it's got lovable characters all of whom are based off yourselves.

eddsworld responds:

Thanks man, it was just a relief to get it done :)

Oh God I was hoping you would make another one!

I laughed so hard at the first "Great Destiny Man" flash.

And those illustrations you made for the intro are hilariously quirky.

Great Destiny Man is such a funny character, it makes me wonder if this is how Tom Fulp's "Samurai Asshole" should behave.

Maybe you should have a cameo appearance of him!

Sexual-Lobster responds:

TF has a samurai character?

i cannot take credit for the credit illustrations though, they were done by my friend james
