A very well thought out game with skill to boot.

This game will test your patience.

If your a fan of puzzles. This game is for you.

I dare say this should be a Xbox download.

The puzzles....were a bit overwhelmingly hard.

Final Fantasy Fans Rejoice

Though lacking in an alluring story, the game's mechanics work perfectly.

But unlike Final Fantasy, it lacks a certain style of beauty.

The characters are not represented well enough, and given the theme - kinda presents a lack-luster fashion for their abilities.

But perhaps I haven't played this game long enough.

Other than that, this game's mechanics work perfectly. My only gripe is the art direction.

It's not suppose to be like Final Fantasy, but at least you could have some development on the characters.

Not as easy as people say...

If you decide to Ball it Out and play HARD mode first hand.

Man...this game can get a bit "tricky" especially when it comes to extreme platforming and avoiding the traps.

Once those spinning blade traps go off, they DON'T turn off.

DANGEROUS!

Very intense for the hard-core flash gamer.

A good 30 minutes of playtime for me about.

The Bosses are tricky at first, but a bit of careful thinking and maneuvering will overcome the obstacles.

Others may think they are easy, obviously they haven't played HARD mode.

I am thoroughly impressed with the game and I hope it becomes more than just a flash ported title.

*I managed to beat the whole game with Cloud's Buster Sword - the second most powerful weapon as far as I know.

Great Job Jazza!

AH I almost beat 20 days.

Day 19 is a swarm of Wizards.

How the heck are you suppose to get close enough to defeat them?

Well, seeing as the achievements range between killing the most Gnomes vs Surviving the most days....

I can break it down between two basic weapons.

The Poison Sword - for survival

Anything more powerful than your own sword but not so slow - for killing the most Gnomes.

What impressed me was the programing of the sprites.

Those little running things...the ones that ram you down mercilessly, I had trouble the first time but then I figured out to jump and swing my sword at the same time.

The Wizards are a bit overly powerful unless Larry can dodge their magic.

The weapons are essentially the same with your luck at choosing one right for you.

But the glitch appears that the "wave" of enemies do not appear fast enough.

After I defeat a "wave" I wait maybe a whole 15 seconds before another "wave" comes in.

A glitch?

Well...being a fan of Beat-Em-Up survival modes, I'm favoring this.

But if I could offer any new updates to this game...

-Larry could wield double weapons if they are small.
-Larry could upgrade his status, "STRENGTH, AGILITY, STAMINA, ETC." So he could actually USE those overly large weapons without slowing him down.
-Bosses?
-Shields, low attack, but high defense.
-Bombs?

Other than that, the game is satisfying, but I think it could be mixed up a little bit more.

thanks for the detailed review man

nice points, although we could have implemented some form of leveling system i decided against it, because it would take the focus away from the grunt of the game which is, attack like hell! we even removed the blocking we had made for it. i wanted everything from the game that could slow you down or make you get away from the action OUT.

also, this is just a minigame :) the main game is out monday

WOW! I don't even know how this is possible!

This is top notch programing skills!

It's a neat take of the common jumpin' platform games we are all familiar with.

Except with clones! This makes puzzles and the fun much more interesting!

I want this to be an Phone App Asap!

THIS IS THE BEST IDEA EVER!!!

I mean....sure, it's not the most original idea ever, but it's still....

THE BEST IDEA IN VIDEO GAMES EVER!!!

When will Nintendo learn that this is what fans of the franchise want.

Cross-Overs of characters in "each-others" games. Played exactly to their strength's and weaknesses.

It was SO much fun playing as Mega-Man and shooting Bowser instead of grabbing that key.

Perhaps one day you'll create an updated version from 16-bit to 32-bit and so on and so forth.

Imagine playing "Super Mario World" using characters like Megaman X, Crontra 3, Super Metroid, dude! it's like every Nintendo fan's fantasy!

And why the hell not, throw in Final Fantasy and make it an RPG whenever you hit a monster.

Everyone keeps talking about the same idea and saying it's a good idea, but only you managed to make it successful.

BRAVO DUDE!

OH God I remember that movie

Terrible movie in my opinion.

But makes a fun game.

Game follows a simple notion...

"The closer you are to danger, the farther you are from being harmed."

Game play like this relies on players to think that running "away" from the worms is the safest way where in reality makes the gameplay harder. If you just stay put and watch you can determine where you need to move. Even towards the holes is better.

It's quite an impressive feat for a 24 hour programing skills.

But I think it would be more challenging if the worms actually followed your path while falling down. That would add some chaos. And that the last stage of avoiding the worms wasn't so predictable.

On a personal note: Playing a pixel game like this really makes me crave a sequel to Domo Kun Angry Smash Feast. With added difficulty.

A fun game with a fairly simple formula....

But is still very difficult.

But reaching our max amount of stats is an easy achievement once you figure out the right order.

"Nothing says profit like higher quality beer-reach for the stars first"
"You don't have to pay full price to refill old barrels, just buy a new one"
"Keep your one barrel in the back cause Doug's a quick bastard!"
"Once your the best brewer in town, anti-up your security slowly"

Hope these hints help

Cause Doug DOESN'T make this game any easier.

My only gripe is that you walk so slow and by the time you get inside, Doug already drinks HALF of what you already stored.

Also I feel that the mouse leaves the player feeling CRAMPED in the wrist.

And since playing "Whack the Doug" takes some difficult reflexes with a mouse, how about offering a "Keyboard" method as well.

I mean, a game like this is best suited for a Wii - remote.

But since this is a computer game and such, I think using "Keys" and different barells having a different letter would allow players the enjoyment of testing their typing reflex skills.

Same could be said for the timing of the pouring of beer.

Other than that a good game with a few necessary re-tweaks.

TRUST ME, MORE FUN IF USE KEYBOARD TO PLAY WHACK-A-DOUG!

Very Surreal...

An alien creature comes to visit earth...befriending a family in the crisis of a war.

How giving and nobel such a stranger of a world where is presence is so accepted.

I get how this game is needed to be short. But I wonder if this can be re-created to be a much larger and in-deph story...

A concept where you can do more than just block enemies, but where you can transform and defend yourself and the people your protecting, pick them up and carry them to safety.

The ending works, but I wonder if this concept can be taken further.

Promise me you'll think about it.

acrazycanadian responds:

It could definitely be a much, much larger story with much more extensive gameplay. There are also other angles of the conflict to see, and further implications to what you choose to do.

But for now I have no funding and bills to pay, so I had to keep things small in scale. Just making this much was a big risk. It's a shame, but that's how it goes. Perhaps I'll get the chance to fulfill your request later.

An Addictive & Realistic Platform Game

This games makes good use of physics and reality.

Inspired heavily on those quirky Japanese game shows...this game is full of hilarity.

It's a learned process to handle but it is easily adapted to one's already skilled mario skills - just you must keep a few things in mind that make it all the more realistic.

I'm so surprised how easy this was to play!

This is already a challenging DSi or PSP download game.

Those who enjoyed the old school Mario games will enjoy Ching Chong Beautiful!

My skills are really put to the test in this game!
