Pretty Cool Man

Your art really makes it fun to play.

What sucks though is that I'm seeing allot of copy-cats on other gaming websites that are essentially following the same formula as you are.

But it's your art style that really shines out and makes the game fun to play.

Great job both of you!

Seriously though, you need to find a way to port your games to Apps stores.

I don't think the game is insensitive.

After all, it's linked towards charity. In BIG BOLD letters.

Domo Kun is like...the persona of pure hard-on Japanese determination. You may fall and fail at times but you get back up and keep on trying. He's allot like that in some of his stop-motion cartoons.

Such is the mindset of Japanese people. This I know for a fact. Don't you people DARE think that Japan's mindset or culture is reflected in their Anime's and Hentai's. As an analogy comparison, American Comics don't reflect American culture or how they look either. It's just entertainment media, not how people really are.

Real Japanese people are hard working, polite, and considerate of others. How many of you 'pretend' to be Japanese but never actually been there? You just 'pretend' to be more like your favorite animes.

And as silly as this game is, what Newgrounds has done is to reflect Domokun, from his goliath nature, his determination to try and stop disaster.

The game is HARD and you probably will fail. You can't see it coming. You can't always prevent natural disaster. The design of the game kinda reflects how this Tsunami was. Feel the pain of the inevitable!

So Donate People! Don't be so hard on the game!

I mean...come on! In the past...we've donated to save dogs, flash artist's heart surgeries, funded freak-en statues of Robocop! And many have donated to Australia & the Philippines!

But man....this like....TOPS IT ALL IN HISTORY!!!

F*ck! These two artists have done more than YOU haters.

So donate if you can. Please!

Don't make this a "offensive material policy" out of this.

It is what it is and I know what's it's intentions are.

Don't go muddling it up!

Can't wait for Fancy Pants Xbox live!

The thing I love most about Fancy Pants is it's combined elements of speed running, platforming, and serene music and backgrounds.

This is simply a game that requires the player to simply...."Go with the Flow....."

A few glitches you should work on before releasing the final product.

1. The "Invisible" glitch.
2. Wall Jumping needs to be activated more easily.
3. Swimming has always been a problem in gaming. You freeze if you hit the bottom.
4. Stages need to be worked on so that Fancy Pants doesn't get stuck in a corner.
5. How about different buttons to control rolling vs sliding?

That's just a brief list. I feel Fancy Pants needs allot more polishing before you should eagerly submit it to Xbox arcade.

Better late and near perfect than early and full of glitches.

DrNeroCF responds:

A lot of those glitches comes from us focusing more on the console build of the game lately. I'll be going through and fixing as many bugs as I can pretty soon, though. The console game was built from the ground up on a different engine, though, so you won't be seeing those bugs in it.

I'm not sure what you mean about the wall jumping, are you always trying to press a different direction when wall jumping? Once you get started, you ust let go of a direction and hit jump over and over. Or, press a different direction to adjust you wall jump.

OMG I think you made the best game EVER!!!!!

In only three days you created something I feel is truly Live Arcade download worthy!

I am just STUNNED!

STUNED with sheer AWESOMENESS of a game that pays homage to old school games with added twists for your keyboard.

This is the best game so far!

An attempt to create a great game in a short time.

and in only 3 days...

You three really know how to make it work.

Although perhaps part of the challenge is playing it right the first time.

Because to beginners it'll be somewhat challenging. But once you know how to stay alive and get all the power ups....it's just and 'endurance run'.

It's only fun for about 5 stages-but this is just a prototype of the game.

Imagine what could be accomplished in a week? This could be just as exhilarating as the Larry game. Complete with Bosses and Weapon collection.

Don't lay this idea and character to rest just yet.

I'm beginning to like this "Meaty Boner" character.

I vote for.....Deadspread83.

His had the most impact on my observation. It sorta symbolizes a variety of things. Birth and Death but the eyes still year for the will of creativity. The baby might be transcending from the bring of it's own creation where it'll leave it's mark and fade away into a blue of blissful existence.

But it wouldn't be fair if I didn't give a brief opinion on the rest of them

There-Finished

It's unusually addictive, but still buggy

And the penalty for dieing is not so harsh.

This is a good start. You have the formula for an addictive defense game.

But it's just not fair for the demons to have all this freedom of movement and you don't. They have more effect on your world and your limitations that you can handle.

Sure you can rebuild but the idea that you can't stop all the destruction is meaningless. Especially those exploding stars.

You need to figure out a way to enable players to ensure a good round against the unpredictable. Like a talisman that banishes all evil. A fail safe.

I see myself a little in each of those stories.

This is an intriguing way to get people to reflect upon themselves if the story can relate.

The mini story encourages you to solve the puzzle in record time. It's a very unique way of gameplay to better enhance the experience of the story. Adding mystery as you question the events as you solve the puzzle.

My only grip is when all is said and done, the story is just a tad short. Although too many puzzles will spoil the mood, but one more puzzle couldn't hurt.

Oh My God I Get It Now!

This is a perfect way to make fun of RPG games.

All you do is just push buttons - You really can't consider RPGs to have any real skills, hand eye coordination, or anything that really is considered reputable in gaming skills.

All you do is invest time, level grind, and...."PRESS BUTTONS!"

You might as well just make an epic story and progress through it with just one button.

It would be more fun if you were on a time-limit

Since these games do not explain the story or scenario with words, it's more fun if the player figures out what to do in a set amount of time.

But hey man, this is Newgrounds.

Everything by "Everyone"?

Be sure you credit EVERYONE who helped make this game under the "Author & File" information.
